Under the agreement, ewpartners will support both companies by linking them with its portfolio and ecosystem partners, while providing financial expertise and value creation guidance to strengthen their market position.

Saudi Arabia is investing over USD 1.5 billion in Health IT and fully digitizing pilgrimage services under the Hajj & Umrah Experience Program. In this effort, Walking Challenge, a gamified health app with hundreds of thousands of users, is promoting healthier lifestyles, while Tawkeel is modernizing Umrah delegation through a secure digital platform. Both represent Saudi-led innovation that supports public health and enhances citizens’ well-being.

On the same day, ewpartners portfolio company Sahm Capital—the first CMA-licensed one-stop financial services platform—announced a partnership with Walking Challenge. Having surpassed one million users in its first year, Sahm Capital is linking financial services with wellness to promote responsible habits in society.

His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Saud Al Faisal expressed his support for ewpartners, noting: “Saudi Arabia is at an important stage of digital and social transformation. Your success is part of our shared vision, and I look forward to working together to advance Vision 2030.”

Jerry Li, Founding Managing Partner of ewpartners, said: “Our mission in Saudi Arabia has always been to support local innovators and accelerate Vision 2030. Working with Walking Challenge and Tawkeel strengthens our commitment to building future-ready ecosystems that serve national needs and improve quality of life.”

Nabeel Zailaie, CEO of Walking Challenge and Tawkeel, added: “Partnering with ewpartners provides access to global expertise and networks, enabling us to expand our services to more users. This is a clear example of how technology is enhancing people’s lives in line with Vision 2030.”

Since its founding in 2017 with PIF’s and other leading investors' support, ewpartners has been a key driver of Saudi Arabia’s digital economy, while also advancing innovations that improve public well-being. Its portfolio includes SCCC, the Kingdom’s largest public cloud provider with STC and Alibaba Cloud; ACES, the first Saudi telecom infrastructure company to export expertise abroad through projects such as the Holy Mosques and Riyadh Metro; and Sahm Capital, one of the fastest-growing one-stop financial service platforms in the Kingdom — alongside a broader portfolio of innovators shaping the future of digital infrastructure across the region.

Through these achievements, ewpartners continues to build a technology-driven ecosystem that supports Saudi Arabia’s transformation and contributes directly to the health, prosperity, and welfare of its people under Vision 2030.
